23 days and counting to the next pay day, and I'm left with only $80! I know, I blew it again. But I swear it's going to be the last time since I've brought all that I've needed this month.

There had been arcade sessions with PCC and Yew Hung. A recent meet-up with Shuyan at Vivo-city for shopping and catching up session before we watched this fire-breathing and mind blowing performance at the outdoor complex near Esplanade.

Training had been so-so. I've missed a couple of running and gym sessions, occasionally due to the May monsoon period and the few days when I felt so shag after work that I couldn't find the energy to go to the gym.

Army work was okay. I had a day off recommended by my Master Sergeant due to good performance during the 427 ICT. However, recently we also encountered problems with other of our regulars, which I'm not going to mention it here.

It was only yesterday when I and Zijian head down to the NUS UCC Hall to catch Nicole's dance performance. It had a slight modification from the last performance at Zirca last March. Overall, the dancers, effects and everything wasn't too bad.

Ironman 2, Ip man 2 and Robin Hood are great movies. Personally, I prefer Ip man 2. It's definitely worth a second watch. Believe me, you have to watch it to understand why (:

CRAZY WEEK

Yes, it has been a crazy week in my training and working life. On the 26th of April also marks the first week of my intensive training scheme to keep fit. WAHAHA. Wish me luck. I've had Night Guard on the 23th with ME1 Jeff and heck it was tiring. But nevertheless, managed to survive through till the wee early morning when we were supposed to be relived from our duties. Thankfully there was Jeff's ride back home that saved me the trouble to get a cab home (:

Dinner at Teeppnyaki with Shuyan back on Monday. Dinner was great and all.

Initial plan for KBOX, Sushi and movie session was cancelled last minute, and so Tuesday was spent at home for most of the day. I've had my running session in the late evenings.

Wednesday to Friday work's intense, in a rush to prep for upcoming 428 ICT next week. But thankfully I've not forgotten training as well. I love Friday's run on the CCK Park Connector route with Sister. A whopping 11.2-km run that night. SHIOK! :D

Then I've caught Ironman 2 with PCC today. Great movie, nice efforts and all, worth watching!

Gotta catch Ip man 2 tomorrow with PCC and Weiyang. Hurray!

Catching up with Salina and Yushun last week was great. We talked about tons of stuffs and before meeting up with Yushun, had Empire State with Salina. The food was GREEEAT! Also caught up with Priscilla for a while before heading towards PS to meet up with Yushun for TCC.

In Army, I was doing fine. We finished handing over the vehicles to the 427 ICT reservists so right now, we can slack for a while. A couple of weeks later would be 428 ICT and that the vehicles would be hand over to them once again. On that very Friday evening, met up with PCC, whom recently came back from Taiwan's ROC, Weiyang and Pokemon for dinner at TGIF. Some fantastic food there, but the queue was terrible. We should have reserved seats earlier. After that, we had an hour of Lan at EMax before catching the movie 'Clash of the Titans', yes, again, with them.

This week, met up with Sal again to get Melody's infant wear at United Square and dined at Hongkong Cafe for lunch. We've got over $80 of clothes for her before it wasnt long we met up with Caroline for another Hongkong Cafe session at PS.

It's going to be a slack week ahead. Workout's a routine though, so I'm not going to compromise that. Friday's my night guard. Sighs. Worse of all, I'm doing guard alone.

I guess I'll just have to suck it up.

Yes, I'm left with $0 now. I guess I've done it again, overspent all my money before my allowance came in. And yet, I still had the chick to go out with Sebastian to sing KBOX from 1500 to 2100 hours today at Cineleisure. We then had KFC for dinner before catching the train back home.

Oh yes, met up with Liangying at Plaza Singapura's Cafe Cartel for dinner, as well as a little window shopping experience at Peninsular Plaza before catching the last train home. We then met again this morning for gym session.

I wouldn't want to have that prawn noodles and milk tea for breakfast anymore. It had gave me the runs since this morning. Terrible terrible. Tsk tsk.

I guess I'm going to slack at home for today and gosh, look at the time now. It's time to sleep.

Clash of the Titans - Definitely the best movie of the year.

It had fantastic graphics, despite not having to watch it in 3D mode. I've caught the movie with my sister at Plaza Singapura last night.

Recently, training had been great. It had been just the intensity I was looking for.

Next week's training going to change everything since I've came up with a new training plan. It's going to push me physically, mentally and above all, my endurance.

Work week's busy busy busy.

Day in and out, workout workout workout!

Weekends were reserved for workouts. Saturday workout was damn intense. The most intense workout I've had since BMT.

I shall preserve! HAHA! :D

Next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's work day. My family's going on Genting Trip without me, but who cares. Thursday's Platoon Cohesion, follow by Good Friday. That means a super long weekend from Thursday! :D

LAB OVER.

LAB's 'officially' over, for most people except for our section, which failed to supply the last 3 vehicles for inspection. Currently out of 5 vehicles we supplied for CSSCOM to check, only 1 has passed, the other vehicle failed due to some stupid safety fault at the trooper bench seat. We shall have our last LAB inspection tomorrow before we start preparing for ICT.

Enough said about Army stuffs, back to civilian talk. This week was all about touching up LAB vehicles, and had night guard with Lionel on Thursday night.

Club with Joy, Sandra and company at Rebel/Zirca/The Arena on Saturday. It was great.

Today met up with CC, Weiyang, Pokemon and Yongling for Kbox session at Cineleisure. We then had lunch at Pasta-mania before making our way to EMax for our Lan session to waste time waiting for the movie 'How to train your Dragon' before we head home at around 2200 hours.

The movie was great. It's a must watch (:

BUSY WEEK AHEAD.

With LAB coming up next week, there was completely no time to relax. We started work since two weeks ago and had been doing OT till late at night since then. Thankfully, there was Warrant Ching's ride back home that gave us a couple more hours of sleep at night.

8 vehicles were to be sent to LAB inspection at first, then 7, and 6, now finally, they settled for 5 without major faults vehicle to be sent.

I've met up with Warrant Ching to get breakfast for our Platoon mates at Bukit Batok on Saturday, and also hitched a ride to camp.

Work was tiring. We washed like 4-5 hours in a shift's time, and did some other minor touchups. I and Weiyang decided to head back to camp today to do our logbooks and clock some engine hours.

On top of that, next Thursday night got guard duty. Why must it be on a LAB week? Sighs.

The last time I exercised was like, last Sunday? That definitely won't be the last. I'm prepared to go back to my exercise regime next Monday at a slightly lower intensity to let my body catch up.

Gym session's great today. I had an hour and a half session with Sista and I managed to clock another PR for my 20 minute run, 4.34 km! We also did sets of dumbell and barbell exercises before heading home and prepare to head to Velocity for window-shopping session.

After that, caught the movie 'The Wolfman' (Yes, again) at The Grand Cathy. I just felt that the movie was great, so I don't mind watching it the second time.

In less than 7 hours time, I sure hope there's the 4-km live run. I need to exercise. I'm feeling so fat from the Ajisen Ramen we had just now and the KFC session I had with PCC, Yong Ling and Pokemon Master.

I've not been keeping up on my training. Perhaps it's the lack of sleep, or stress, that I've been very easily tired recently. It's frustrating to see how much I can work out now as compared to my BMT times. Sighs.

Last Sunday, went to the gym with Sis. The session was a long and intense two hours session, but it was well-worth it. Also had a 2.4 km run on Tuesday and 4 km run on Thursday.

I finally had my KFC feast/craving satisfied on Friday with PCC, Yong ling and Pokemon Master. I never knew that window-shopping at Lot1 would be so great, with a company like them. LOL.

I'm feeling so much better today, less tired and everything. Tomorrow, I'm going to the gym again. Three weeks to LAB. Two more weeks to North East Run and allowance day and one more week to collection of race pack. How time flies.

I'm going to watch TV now. Later.

The trip to Ikea with Sis was great. Thanks for the Pasta and Meatball treat. It was marvelous. We also shopped for our running gear at Queenstown shopping centre and later, 313@Somerset Stadium for her running shoes and socks. Later, we caught the new Jackie Chan movie 'Little Big Soldier' at Cineleisure.

We caught the last train home straight after the movie.

I've had a 4-km run in camp and another 4-km at the stadium on Wednesday. I felt terrible due to the lack of sleep. Clearly, an hour of sleep is not enough to run that much in a day. But heck, I've gotten over it and work was slack that day, so it was a worthwhile run.

Thursday was okay, though we had to break track for one of the LAB vehicles. Same goes for Friday, but we only managed to break half the side of the vehicle's track since it was a half day and everyone was to report at Bukit Batok's Civil Service Club for 1AMB Dinner at 1830 hours.

The dinner was great. The games and everything was alrights, I suppose. It was super funny to see how Jermyn got drunk and all, so yes, it was a fun night to begin and end with.

Also caught the movie, The Wolfman with Weiyang and PCC.

We then head over to play LAN at Parklane before sharing a cab back home with Weiyang.

SINGING AWAY, 2ND DAY OF CNY

Me with Sistaaaaa!

The whole day consists of singing, and singing only. I've starting my first song at around 1400 hours and after we left my Aunt's house at around 1600 hours, we went to AMK's Kbox to sing further, till 2100 hours. It felt great, just really really great.

I so feel like shopping right now. I want to get an Iphone, new clothes and especially shoes. I want to get a external hard disc as I'm reformatting my computer in a few months time. I've got so much to buy yet I've spent like crazy these past few days, in which I doubt even my Hongbao money would even be able to cover them. ZZZ!

Tomorrow reporting back to camp, refreshed. Best thing is, it's going to be a short week, Wednesday to Friday!

I'm heading to IKEA to do some shopping for my room! But not after my relative's has left the house yo :/

I'm going to participate in another race. But this time, it's a 6km race. Anyone wants to tag along?

I and Sis started LNY/Valentine's Day with a run via PCN, had Macdonalds before heading back home to prepare to visit our Great Aunt. It's an annual thingy, routine.

The visit was okay, the usual Mahjong and TV watching. I've just learned that one of our cousins had a shogun, if not his girl has a kid before him. Complicated shit. His girl looked darn young though, maybe around 17? Hmm.

We left Great Aunt's house at around 1500 hours and had MOS Burger at AMK hub before catching the movie 14 Blades. It's a great movie.

We've went straight home after the movie (:

POST CNY CELEBRATION AT ARC AND 12FMD COHESION AT THE GRAND CATHY

Okay, let's start off with something random. A few days ago my fellow driver in Platoon 3 got bitten by a dog. No, he was attacked by 3 medium size dogs near the training shack, close to our company line. God knows what he did to those cute little things to turn them into half-crazed animals to bite him, but he was last seen alone near the training shack, and trying to outrun the dogs when they are attacked. Apparently during his escape, he could have did 3 things to save himself from such a messy situation.

Run towards the company line area, that's pretty darn obvious. You could have asked for help, or at least scare off the dogs when they see people
Don't stare/do anything stupid/outrun the dogs, when they are agitated or felt threatened, they would have attacked you.
Fucking shout for help when you needed it. And yes, he didn't shout, at all.

Luckily, only his thumb was injured. I guess you cannot 'suck thumb' already uh, Joel? :/

Anyways, Thursday's post CNY celebration was pretty darn great. I had my favorite set meal, two times in ARC, CO's Total Defense speech, followed by a NE trip to Labrador Park which lasts for an hour or two before we made our trip back to ARC for the actual CNY celebrations.

We had some dragon dance by some troupe and Zodiac predictions from some female expert named Adelina. But the most fun part was the Mascot decorations. We decorated 'Bean-sprout' into the God of Fortune and won the first prize. HAHA. In the area decorations we were not so lucky though.

Right after that we had an hour or two to help ourselves to the buffet provided, as well as orange giving ceremony by our OC.

Then, I've had pool session with Vignes, 'Jay Chou', PCC and Yew Hung. Vignes left early and the three of us had Macdonalds before heading home at around 2030 hours.

Yesterday's 12FMD cohesion was simple yet fun. We caught the movie Armored.

We then had our buffet (Yes, again), served by The Grand Cathy waitresses. After which I, Huijie, Vignes and Ruthi went shopping. I've got home at around 2100 hours.

It was also, at roughly the same time, when Mum got home, and soon afterwards, got the news that Dad had an order from our neighborhood doctor to get to NUH for an injection to counter his excessively high blood pressure and sugar level. We then took a cab down to NUH whereas he had to stay in for a day for further observations. Darn. He got me startled for a moment. But thank God he was alright, and he got home early this morning.

Last night last minute shopping for reunion dinner foodstuffs was heck of a tiring experience. I still feel the tiredness this afternoon when I woke up. No matter. I'm going to tidy up my room now.

CNY SHOPPING SPREE!

Met up with CC and 'Jay Chou' for shopping session. We went Town-Bugis-City Hall-Marina Square-Town(again). The shopping was long and tiring, but all went well since we've got what we wanted.

Finally, birthday photos of Momo.

These past few days had been terrible. I've not been sleeping enough and I am so drained, physically and financially. Monday's 4-km run was great though, secured a 2nd place in company placing, and the Monday evening run with Sister was great as well, as we paced ourselves along with the wonderful breeze that we had on the Chua Chu Kang Park Connector.

On Tuesday, we had our first Bukit Timah run, and heck, it was long, and yet, it felt great. The adrenaline rush swept through my body, and I felt like as if I was just levitating throughout the run, though that's not the case with my sister. LOL. We ran from Bukit Gombak to Bukit Batok, to Upper Bukit Timah Road near Beauty World and back home in a little less than 2 hours. It wasn't that bad of a timing since we had to stop for Sister to catch her breath and the occasion 'out-of-breath' moments.

I've estimated we've ran at least 6-8 km at a super easy pace. I'm going to run at it again this coming Saturday morning. The uphills and slopes shall prove to be quite a training for my upcoming participation in the 16-km North East Run.

Workload has been mounting these past few days, and with that, LAB is coming nearer and nearer. I've worked alone, most of the time, changing FFE's, doing BOS's on LAB and Non-LAB vehicles alike. Yet, it was the jokes and laughter of my Army friends, in which of it happened at a super random timing which never failed to cheer me up.

I guess I've got to sleep already. The physical lack of sleep is just so tormenting. Luckily I've sold my day guard to Jermyn, then again, I'm walking to CCK to broad 975 tomorrow. Tsk. Another 5 hours of sleep this time round. Darn.

Short update about yesterday's movie session.

We had Hong Kong Cafe for dinner before catching the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

It was a heck of a hard movie to understand at first, long story short, it was an okay movie, more of a fantasy type.

After the movie, we had KBOX session all the way till 0100 hours. Later, hopped onto a night rider back home.

MOMO's birthday's today!

Sister had school/business to attend to, leaving me, Momo and Pops to head to JP for dinner session at Din Tai Feng. The Dian Xin there was great, especially the Xiao Long Bao.

Unfortunately, the dinner session wasn't filling enough for Pops and he had second round instead, at BK this time. Wow :/

Later on our way back home, got Momo a cake, her favorite Durian ice-cream and some bread home.

Darn, Sis's not back yet. I guess the cake-cutting ceremony is not starting anytime soon. Perhaps tomorrow?

It's been great, and a super long time since I've ran barefoot, ran 4-km at a super hard pace to be exact. Perhaps it's the lack of proper stretching and warm up session, my calf muscles are super tight now. Darn. Along with a couple other static exercises and abdominal muscles training, I ended my training session.

I can't wait for tomorrow's live run in the morning, another 4-km to go, follow by road running session at 2000 hours.

Tired, tired, tired.

I've been giving myself false promises, to train hard for the 16 km North East Run, instead, I am slacking off these past few days. On Friday, clocked only a 2.4k in camp, along with a few static.

Currently preparing vehicles for upcoming LAB in February and March. Busy busy period!

Anyways, shopped around town with PCC yesterday. And we managed to get one t-shirt. At least it wasn't a wasted trip there.

TALK ABOUT BEING SCREWED.

And so, I did night guard with Huijie last night, and it wasn't without a hitch. Apparently, there were these 5 screwed up 38SCE Combat Engineers that switched our Details and Prowler number without telling us, and that when we DID found out, it was because the five of them wanted to do prowling and sentry together, AS A DETAIL. I mean, screw that. Your sentry friend is going to be alone, and that leaves you with four prowlers, in which two of you guys are going in opposite directions to the different checkpoints.

There isn't a rule stating that people from the same company, and coincidentally this time round, five of you all are going to take an entire detail for yourselves. It's a first come first serve basis, not the 'We-are-one-company-and-we-ought-to-be-together' kind of system. Pfft.

And that's not all, being the first detail meant that we had to, instead of the usual two shifts two hours each, we had three shifts. But thankfully, the Guard Commander was great and there wasn't any turnout during the entire night duty.

We basically entertained ourselves with our television, PSP's and books. One of the guard was actually sewing a cartoon design for his girlfriend in the upcoming Valentine's cum Chinese New Year Day. I was like, what the fuck? What a place to sew! :/

After night guard ended at 0730 hours, we had guard rest and started work at around 1030 hours. It was a well spent yet tiring day (:

Okay, something's wrong with blogger. I can't seem to post photos anymore than one at once. Anyways, been out to town with Clique and army friends alike. Recently, caught the movie Day-breaker and The Vampire's Assistant, in which I conclude both are pretty amazing movies to watch. I've just took part in the North East Run 16-km race which takes place this coming March at East Coast. And heck, I'm going to train for it.

Work has been going on and on these past few days. There are tons of BOS's to do and vehicles to clear for upcoming LAB and ICT's. Not to mention getting burned while checking the engine oil dip stick while the engine was smoking hot. YOOUCH.

Tomorrow I'm having night guard, there goes my plan of having to go to the gym on a Tuesday night. BAM ):

Yes, I am feeling revived today from my run yesterday, despite not having to run for 2 consecutive weeks.

I've completed a 7x400 meters, 100 meters sprint and some circuit training of my own just yesterday, getting back to adrenaline rush that I so desperately needed. Tomorrow, or should I say later on, after the 1AMB's COC parade rehearsal and everything, a 2 hour long gym session is all I need to de-stress.

Lessons were thought in the lecture room in the morning, and hands on at the vehicle shack after lunch, everyday till the start of Christmas Eve, which marks the end of our course.

2 more weeks and I'll be a qualified operator! That includes promotion too! (:

12FMD PLATOON 3 COHESION DAY

And so, our platoon met up at Cineleisure, and along with PC Chua and the rest of the gang, caught the movie 'Jennifer's Body'. Yes, Megan Fox's hot and everything but the storyline was a little, underrated? Anyways, shopped around The Heerens and Paragon with Jermyn, Vignes and Lai and had dinner at Kobayashi before heading for lan session with platoon mates.

There goes my first cohesion with the platoon. I've heard that there is a upcoming Company Cohesion party in the month of December, if I'm not wrong that is.

Also had 2.4km run today, but with no timing. However, I ran at my hardest, so I'm sure that's a good workout already. I've also came across Runyu, a working friend working with me at Crowne Plaza before my enlistment, just glad that he's coping well in his attachment.

Work, work, work again tomorrow. I've got to get ready for the ICT next monday. I'm going to sleep soon, and till then, ciaos.

A HELL OF A MONTH

I'm broke, seriously. I've been spending too much, too soon.

Last Saturday met up with Mr SLY for window shopping session at Orchard Central, and caught the 2 weeks only Michael Jackson movie 'This is it'. The movie was really inspiring in which how Michael, a perfectionist, seeks to perform to the audience like they are never going to see before, in which in real life, tragedically, he died before the actual concert begins. The movie also shows how he inspiries the people around him, the dancers with him on stage, and the very producer that helped him make this concert and movie happening, Kenny Ortegan.

Also met up with Sotong, Jacqueline and Zijian for dinner at Waraku before meeting up with twin for clubbing session.

Last last Friday, clubbed with Ruthi and Sebastian at Zirca/Rebel, which turned out great. I've clubbed again on the 31st at Soho and Lunar with Zijian and Neoying twinnie last Saturday, which in contrast, didn't turn out what I've expected it to be like, since the halloween crowds were so overwhelming and that I and Zijian queued for over an hour before we got it.

Anyways, my 2.4km dropped, with a record of 9.58 minutes. I'm determined to carry out my weekly workout schedule from this Thursday onwards.

I'm expected to run at 10km at Keat Hong camp this coming December 7th. I'm not sure much about the details of this race but with a day off the next day, HECK, I'm so going to run can? (:

Work has been busy, busy, busy all along. We've learned how to tighten tracks, change transmission and final drive oil from the technicians during the 100 hours of servicing. It was dirty work, but the experience was great.

Yesterday also marks the end of my first night guard. I felt okay through the day till when I've got home, I felt super lathagic. And now that I'm wondering, should I buy Lionel's shift too? Hmm. Tempting.

Anyways, I'm going to prepare to go out now, 12FMD Platoon 3 Cohesion outing today. There is going to be movies, lunch and Lan later. I shall update at a later date!

Busy, busy, busy. 12FMD is busy and yet boring at the same time. Daily routine of checking vehicles and doing BOS is boring me and Jeremyn out. At the same, we slacked with our old CCO workshop mates in the CCO office, ran around doing errands for technicians and doing what we can to entertain and keep ourselves busy.

Next week I shall have a long weekend since we are entitled to a day off due to the upcoming Deepavali festival this coming November and that I've applied Friday as my off day.

Also, had movie session cum shopping session with Shane and Sebastian at JP during their nights out sometime last week. We also caught the movie, Surragates. It was a great movie.

Also met up with Jacqueline for my first Manhattan Fish Market dinner. The food was cheap and available in super large portions. The service was good too!

Then, there was dinner session at Benten with clique at Bugis last Saturday, follow by a late night KBOX session that lasts all the way till morning with Yada and Zijian.

Running sessions with Sister around Bukit Batok area were great, though it was not much of a calorie burning session, it was a great bonding session with her.

And also, recently I've not been having sufficient sleep. I guess I shall have to start sleeping at around 2230 hours to 2300 hours every night, especially on Sunday, Tuesdays and Thursday nights, given that I would have PT the next morning and have had the time to get my breakfast at the cookhouse.

This week's workload was okay since we started doing our BOS on our section's vehicles. We've also learnt how to install tracks, identify more component parts of vehicles and some tips and advice from other drivers on updating our logbooks and many other driver stuffs that we need to know.

After work today, I've joined Shane, Sebastian, Jeremyn, Ruthi and Joel for another Manhattan Fish Market 'expenditure'. After the dinner, the few of us, other than Jeremyn and Joel, shopped around before the both of them, Shane and Sebastian respectively, went back to camp.

2.4km self-test tomorrow to see whether my standard has dropped. Let's just hope for the best. Finally, weekends are approaching (:

LEH-PAH AT HOME

Somehow, I didn't feel like going out today. AND it's mooncake festival today, so I've planned to spend the evening with my parents slacking and having mooncakes at Xiao Guilin, yet instead, it started raining, so eventually we headed to the nearby stadium to enjoy our mooncakes and bak-gua. LOL. After that, had a 1.6km sprint before heading back home.

Tomorrow's book in day. Time sure passes fast when you're in army. Anyways, given that I'm 8-5 daily, I shouldn't complain much. I have a heck of a time to train for my 21km AHM run next year, as well as to improve my 2.4km timing.

Goals till this year end:

Say NONO to fat tummy, must exercise and control my diet/cravings.

Achieve 9.15/9.30 minutes for 2.4km.

Pull-up increase from 9 to 12.

LAST WEEK IN CCO WKSP

I've enjoyed my stay at CCO, and working with Madam Shoba, Nicholas, Edmund, William and many others during this process. And from next Monday after our bowling session, yes another one, the rest of us, except for the 4SAB personnel like Harry, Sebastian and the rest, would be transferred to 12MFD to take on our driving course.

Let's see what can I update this week? We booked in on Sunday night, and Monday and Tuesday was heck of a busy day with a evening run on Monday that lasts 7.2km.

Tuesday nights out and had dinner at home before heading back to camp before 2300 hours.

Wednesday was a breeze since we hardly moved a finger around but I've enjoyed a 10km run at the stadium before slumbering back to my bed.

Thursday was another nights out with Bing Song and Ruthi to the local mall for some arcade, makan and reading session at the library before taking away some waffles and drinks back to camp.

Friday is book out day, and we spent most of the time managing and arranging the store and in the morning we had our 2.4km run and half an hour of basketball session. We also head down to the emart to purchase our PT attire upon joining 12MFD next Monday.

On the way back to the shuttle bus service in camp, came across Yushun and had dinner with him and his friend at LJS before heading home.

ONE HECK OF A WEEKEND

This week is insane, and it all started from Friday morning at 0900 hours when there is our CCO WKSP cohesion event/party at NSHomeTeam Superbowl at the old CDans area, follow by a mini buffet.

In the afternoon, met up with Shuyan for the first time in many months since my enlistment for a shopping trip at Town. The entire shopping trip lasts around 7 hours and we were dead exhausted.

Then at night, clubbed at rebel with Weiling, Kelvin, Shuyan and her friend Thomas. And since the shots and gin tonics we ordered didn't made us high, we went out to the local 7-11 to buy a packet of 6 Henineken to make ourselves high, in which we did, and later we returned back to club all the way till 0500 hours in the morning.

Saturday afternoon met up with Sebastian for another shopping trip at City Hall. In the meantime, we've had arcade sessions and finally, a 4 hours long KBOX session at Marina Square.

Later meeting up with the guys at Lot1 to book in. I shall update again.

So I've started off my first week at Sungei Gedong Armour HQ, as known as the CCO WKSP. I shall just summarise it.

Tuesday - Report to camp, report to Armour HQ, did PC interview with Warrant Chang; learnt rules and regulations and that I'll be driving the M113 Ultra upon my deployment to 12MFD sometime next week, and since we didn't have a bunk of our own, we had our very first nightsout/book out and most of us, other than the 4SAB people and a few others would have to come back before 2300 hours and stay in camp.

Wednesday - Officially became the shitwork warrior of the day. I've also learnt that my ex-platoon mates and the drivers and GPMG gunners of 41 SAR were there to train for the next 3 weeks. Awesome. As HQ Armour personnel, we had tons and tons of freedom. Anyways, at night, ran 4km around the stadium before relaxing at the bunk and having nightsout, own time own target at around 2100 hours.

Thursday - Yes, we've done it again. Shitwork warriors are in and we managed to complete most of our work before our day has officially ended at around 1730 hours. And so, we booked out and I've managed to squeeze a 2.4km run along with static and circuit exercises at the stadium nearby my area.

Not sure when to book in though. I guess it's on either a Sunday night or Monday morning?

Tomorrow shall one heck of a long day. Clubbing, bowling cum cohesion bonding with HQ Armour people, shopping and so much more. I can't wait.

Tuesday to Friday was intense. There was daily training of SOC and IPPT exercises carried out. Other than the SOC 700m rundown, the circuit training on Thursday was a killer as well. I wasn't feeling on Friday as I had a 3 hour long dirraheoa in the middle of the night and that nearly killed me while I was doing my 11 exercises before my speed training. There was Captain ball later in the evening before dinner and our platoon just kind of skipped that without the other officers noticing. LOL.

And so, that concludes my last day in Kranji Camp 2.

And also thanks to Aarone, Weilong; my buddy, Nicholas, Kenneth and Terrence aka sampoks, Hui bing, Nico the ticko, Shino, Hai wei aka Teletubbie, Zhong Liang and many others for the farewell wishes. You guys take care too.

And, I've been posted out to Sungei Gedong camp, if that's how you spell that. Armour HQ. Maybe I'm just not cut to become a Armour infantry unit? I don't know.

Many people, my Officer, Sergaents and platoon mates likewise, say that the workload there would be slack. Probably a driver or something.

There is only one way to find out. To experience it myself.

FAMILY DAY

It was a nice day slacking at home, with my family. We had dinner outside, just like how we did before I entered the army, but with a pinch of salt. I didn't eat. I just didn't felt hungry. All that laksa, rojak and curry chicken rice makes me nausea.

After dinner we headed down to the stadium. I did a couple sets of chin ups. It just felt great with the twinkling sweat rolling down my body. I've also used this time to catch up with my family. It was just a good evening though there were some disagreements in I and my dad's conversation, everything was cool.

And so we headed home and watched the television as a family. It had been a long time since we did that. Everything just felt great.

BBQ AND STEAMBOAT WITH ARMY MATES

And so, met up with PC sir, the Sergaents and a few fella platoon mates yesterday at Tian Tian Huo Guo for a magnificient 2 hour steamboat cum BBQ session before ending off with a walk around Bugis Junction and Bugis Street and heading to an area where there is this fantastic tasting Tao Huay dessert. We ended our day heading different directions, for some like me going home, the rest either going to meet up with their other friends or otherwise, for pub session.

Just came back from a short running session with Zijian and Sotong, it felt great, and I mean really great.

I've really got to put my focus more on chin ups and doing more lower body exercises; tuck jumps/power jump, etc. I want to improve my SBJ!

And yes, after 3 days of intense training and tons and tons of rehearsals over our parade and performance sequence, we were ready for our grand night, our BMT Passing Out Parade held yesterday at 1800 hours, 090909. Overall, the performances were great. Our Hawk Company displayed the UO and FCO drills perfectly, while Shrike performed BCCT and Falcon; CPT1 and the 5BX exercises done every morning before training. After sending our arms, prepared to book out and off we go to enjoy our 6 days block leave.

Anyways, last Saturday chilled out with Brother Zijian and Jacqueline at City Hall and Marina Square area. Sunday was spent with family at Westmall's Swensens as belated birthday celebration and later after that, joined up with Zijian and Sotong for dinner session. We chilled out a bit at my place before booking in.

Later at 7pm I'm going for my run, and I do hope I can break my 9.52 minutes mark and reach perhaps a timing of 9.14 minutes? Until then, ciaos.

BE-EARLIED 20TH BIRTHDAY PHOTOS AND WEEK'S UPDATE

Before I start, here are some of the photos taken at Yada's house on my be-earlied 20th birthday celebration. Thank you guys for organising this barbeque cum steamboat for me and also everyone whom sent birthday messages, may it be sms or facebook to me. I love you guys.

And so, it was the start of another week in army. However, this week has tonned down quite a bit. On Monday, we practically did almost nothing except to decorate our board for the POP parade and some arms drill. Tuesday and Wednesday was mainly SOC 200m and 400m rundown practice for the actual 600m rundown this coming Monday. We also learnt how to do guard/sentry duty while practicing basic counter and offensive movements to take down hostile targets.

Thursday was IPPT test, in which for the first time, I've passed. I could have gotten Silver if not for my SBJ whereas 8s less in the 2.4km run would result in a Gold standard. Here are the results.

I've also had completed the milestone in our BMT, the 24km road march on my actual birthday, how amazing is that? The track from Changi Village to ECP wasn't easy but the fighting spirit actually pushed us on and on. It will always be a memorable day to remember.

Yesterday after book ou at 1050 hours, slacked at home for a while before meeting up with Brother Zijian and later Jacqueline to slack around City Hall area aimlessly. The main thing is for us to catch up with one another and enjoy good food while taking a break from the busy weekday. Once again thank Zijian and Jacqueline for the birthday wishes in person.

We toured around City Hall, Marina Square and later Bugis. I've got home at around 2230 hours, totally shack from the lack of sleep since yesterday.

Later going out with family to celebrate my belated birthday, and I've not decided where to go and eat. I shall go and crack my brains to think of a place now, and until then, ciaos.

TOWN

And so, the time now is 0121 hours. Outing with Brother Zijian to Town was great. We watched Final Destination 4, a totally gruesome yet awesome movie not to be missed. After that we had dinner at the coffeeshop near Orchard Central before heading to Cineleisure, The Heerens, Takashimaya and finally Ion Orchard to end off our window-shopping.

Later meeting up with Yada, Sotong and Brother Zijian at Yada's house for steamboat to celebrate my be-earlied birthday, and till then, ciaos.

SHACK

19 days for not being to update my blog, and at last, 1 more week to POP. We've just completed our 16km road march yesterday and hell, we were just totally shack. For the past 2 weeks, I was confined 3 times for my misfire case, and with that aside, we also had SOC training with SBO and our rifle, Speed Trainings, UO, IPPT, Live Firing (BTP), CPT2 trainings and 12/16km road marches. Last Friday we also had our first Platoon cum Company photoshoot and needless to say, the photos were great.

Also, after CO talk two days ago, was chosen to go for the Recee Interview. The 72km road march, Jungle Recee Missions, Interregation Training and Heliborne Trainings sounds just so damn cool. I sure hope I can get in, but that also means that I would switch to Support Company. So I just see how the interview results would go.

Next Friday, IPPT on Monday, SOC on tuesday, 24km road march at ECP on Friday. Wish me all the best!

First, before anything I start blogging anything, I would like to wish my Brother Zijian a very happy 25th birthday! Yesterday met up with him and also initially Yada whom could not make it at the very last moment to celebrate his birthday.

After having breakfast at a mini cafeteria at Sembawang station, we had no plans so we headed down to The Cathy to catch The Hangover which was a totally hilarious movie. Later on, we met up with Jacjac and Junior at Bugis and had a short chit chatting session at Teadot; a great chilling place for tea lovers, before we proceed to Marina Square and City Hall for our window shopping sessions. We parted at around 8pm.

The super delicious Strawberry Tiramisu, Little Red Fuji, and Simply Matcha that we had.

And gosh, time flies when you are having fun, booking in at 2100 hours today. Sighs. But no matter, I had a really fun 2 day weekend unlike all my previous bookouts. Tomorrow's training program, IST training, CPT2 strength training (Oh man!), combat run, recruitment talk and PC interview.

And so, I've not slept for almost the entire night while waiting for internet access and now I'm updating my blog at this early morning, and that in 2-3 hours time meeting Yada and Brother Zijian to go Yada's house and slack. Anyways, yesterday was a hell lot of fun. I've met up with Brother Zijian, Yada and Sotong at Sembawang station and later down to TPY Safra to collect their race packs for the AHM and Safra Bay Run. I wish them luck and all the best in their trainings for the race (:

Anyways, after that was lunch session at KFC, and in which later Yada left for work, leaving with Zijian, I and Sotong left pondering where to go. In the end, we chose to go The Cathy to catch G.I Joe at 3pm and the movie last for 2 hours, and that I think it was a relatively 'okay' movie. The special effects were there, but not enough to excite my senses enough to be rated good.

Afer that, we had dinner at Cineliesure's BBQ chicken, and a few moments later, Jacjac joined us and we had KBOX buffet session at Level 8 which lasts from 7pm to 11pm. Though it was a short time singing there, we had throughly enjoyed ourselves, sharing bounds of laughter here and there. It is most likely a unforgettable moment that we spent together.

I guess I really need to sleep already, otherwise, I might end up sleeping at Yada's house rather than to hang out and celebrate Brother Zijian's be-earlied birthday later. I'll update at a later time, back to sleep. Ciaos.

BACK FROM TEKONG!

And so, I am finally back from my Tekong field camp! All I can say that it was shack, shack, shack, especially on the last day when we had our first turn out and following a 6 hour shell scraping session which nearly pushed me to the brink of exhaustion. The first few days were okay, we were thought on many night movements, hand signals and many many more.

We also had our first BIC and live hand grenade throw session. There are just so many things I want to talk about but I just can't seem to remember. Hmmm.

Anyways, going out now to meet up with the Banquet gang, updating again later. Ciaos.

And so, this week's training was shack, shack, shack. Monday's IPPT was another disaster, failing only SBJ and had RT today. Fuck. Anyways, there was plenty of BCCTs, AGRS, and especially that killer Speed Training with Group A on Tuesday. Another killer was the 6km road march in our FBO on Friday. We also had our grenade lessons and brief introduction to grenades. Friday was a trip to the E-mart in which we purchased our Tekong items for next week. Today, our RT consists of IST (Intensive Specific Training) and IAIA drills which nearly took me out already. After area cleaning at around 1545 hours, we finally booked out.

Next week is preparation for Tekong and in which next next week would be Tekong; Field Camp. Wish me luck! (:

SHOPPING SPREE

And so, another hellish week has past. Training was relatively progressive, so as our AGR run which increased from 4km to 4.7km for our Group A peeps. We also began our BCCT training, our first IST which focused mainly on our IPPT weaknesses, such as the SBJ and Chin-ups. Thursday was our Singapore Discovery Centre cum Army Museum outing, and we had received our weapon/wifes officially at Kranji War Memorial, awarded by our PC sir.

Friday, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we booked out early, and upon reaching home, rested all the way till late evening when I went for my 5km run with Sotong and Brother Zijian. It was a relatively fast run and we completed a little less than an hour.

Today, outing with Brother Zijian to Bugis for shopping session. We toured Bugis Street, Bugis Junction and some of the outskirts of the area before heading to City Hall and Marina Square area for more window-shopping session. I've got myself a Guy Laroche wallet, a shirt from Freshbox and a pair of super-duper nice shoes from River Island. Satisfied, we headed home in te early evenings, exhuasted.

I'm heading to cut my no.1 hairdo with Yong Quan later, perhaps a short run or a gym session before booking in again later tonight at 2100 hours. Till then, I shall update again.

MARINA BARAGE AND JOY'S 20TH BIRTHDAY

Yesterday's Marina Barage trip was great. We had lunch at the Marina Barage cafe which had a super nice ambience and had Just Noodles for lunch/dinner at Fountain Terrance. Later in the evening, had a mini window shopping session with Brother Zijian at RCCC, Suntec and Marina Square while hunting for Joy's birthday present. We ended our shopping trip at around 2230 hours.

There was initially mind cafe session with Sheryl, Jacjac, Sotong and Brother Zijian today, but was cancelled due to the lack of players. So we changed our plans to makan session at Han's at Far East Plaza follow by Basketball session at Plaza Singapura's arcade before heading home to prepare to go Joy's birthday party at her Condo.

Overall, the party's great and all. 2 cakes for the birthday girl okay! Both the cheesecake and the chocolate cake from Bazkerzin tastes great. Also caught up with Jia li, Jeffery and Lester.

Later going Popular to get my card holder for my camp pass before booking in to camp this late evening. And so, the real hell training begans. I shall update again next week (:

LAST OUTING

Last Sunday's Henderson Wave's picnic was a great success, not until someone put me, Zijian and Sotong airplane last minute to accompany her boyfriend. LOL. Anyways, after the picnic, had starbucks session follow by a slack session at Vivo Garden before heading back to Bukit Gombak to have my oh-so-fucking-expensive haircut which costs me 10 bucks before booking in camp again.

As for army, there was our first unofficial IPPT test on Monday, in which I failed SBJ and Chin up respectively, and did pretty well for the rest and strength training. Tuesday was AGR 3.6km plus 500m and strength training. Wednesday was again strength training and also our Battlion's Games Day in which we won Ultimate Frisbee, 3rd place in our 10x400m relay and 3rd place in Soccer and as all bookout day always starts and ends with a FBO road march and a stand by area inspection. There was also much cleaning up to do to welcome the new Falcon Company aboard tomorrow.

Back to civilian life, going out with Zijian and Jacjac tomorrow for Marina Barage session. Saturday celebrating Brother Joy's birthday. I love weekends that are so so packed.

2ND BOOKOUT

2nd bookout was well spent, and I am just going to summarise the training for the week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday were 3km - 4km - 4km road marches following by one AGR and two CPT-2 sessions to strengthen us.

After bookout, met up with Terrence and Yong Quan for Mac session, wondered around aimlessly at Gombak till late in the morning before Quan drove us to West Coast for a pull-up session. There, we had our breakfast before Terrence came over for sleepover at my house.

Later in the day, met up with Jacjac and Brother Zijian at Bishan for window-shopping and lunch session, then caught Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen at AMK hub with Jacjac and her friend. We later dined at Astons before heading to the Mega-mart Fairprice at AMK hub for tomorrow's picnic at Henderson Waves with Sotong, Jacjac and Brother Zijian. It was around 2245 hours when I reached home.

Tomorrow's going to be fun, fun, fun. Next week, book out day on Thursday! But before that, 'IPPT' and road march on Monday. Sighs. Wish me luck!

BUGIS AND CITY HALL

So, I've spent my first bookout weekend with Jacjac and Brother Zijian. We met up at Bugis and began loitering around like lost souls, having to purchase a t-shirt at Praise and having lunch at the local foodcourt. After that, we headed down to City Hall to check out movie timings for Transformers. For the next 2-3 hours, we travelled back and fro from Bugis to City Hall to check the timings but finally gave up the idea when we concluded that many of the tickets have been either sold out or the seats are way too close to the screen.

We headed to a mini restraunt near Funan IT mall for dinner and further loitered around RCCC before heading to Marina Bay for talk cock session. It was a day well spent.

Finally I was able to fold my Fuck 4 into Smart 4, I guess I'll iron the uniform's sides tomorrow morning to let it season faster.

Anyways, I am sleeping soon, seriously exhausted.

First update since enlisted 2 weeks ago!

Army was great, overall. I can't really describe it in words. There are times when it was really tough to get by psychological setbacks but there are also times when we, as a section, a platoon, a company or even a battlion would be able to overcome challanges and obstacles that stood in our way.

Basically, for our PTP phrase, we had strength-cardio exercises daily, that include CPT 1, which is the warm up exercises plus movement drills, and CPT 2, which include pull-ups, crunches and powerjumps plus medicine ball and dumbell training. We also had speed training every once in 2 to 3 days, and also AGR which basically divides us into 4 different groups, A/B/C/D respectively. Being in Group A meant that I had to train harder, run faster and do better, and that the pressure was on us to out perform the rest.

We had our first foot drill practice on day 2 and since I was in UG before, I had a slight advantage many others. We also had area cleaning, tons and tons and tons of water parades, funny times together.

We had our 3rd road march, 3km, today before booking out. I remembered we had our first road march roughly a week ago. It was seriously draining and the aftermath of that march always ends with a dreadful headache that lasts for close to an hour.

Most of my section mates were great people, and that I've worked well with the platoon as well. Only now then I know why they say that when you are in the army, you get to work with people who are different in many ways. And man, how true is that.

Anyways, Mum, sister, Jacjac and Sheryl came see me in during enlistment day, many thanks.

OC reminded us that real HELL is coming this monday, after another 3km road march. I shall remember his 'wise' words. HAHA.

DAY BEFORE ARMY

Okay, I'm updating at this stupid time is because of two reasons, one is that I can't get to sleep because of tomorrow's enlistment into the army and secondly, it's the only time when I can connect to the Internet. So I'll just summarise what I did today.

Brother Zijian came over for a badminton session and despite the lack of a proper open court which has been fully booked, we manage to have fun playing at Block 403 where there was this big green field that provided us the space to play. The thing is that there was way too much wind today and after an hour and a half of badminton, we decided to have our dinner at the coffeeshop near my area before Sotong visited us and quickly went back home for her dinner before resuming work.

After seeing her off home, we went to Westmall to return my books and for a short slacking session before heading back to Bukit Gombak to find Sotong to crap with her. And heck, it was around this time when I and Zijian were totally 'stunned' by these two cats which suddenly, out of now-where, jumped out and scare the shit out of us! You got to be there to know how it felt. Shit.

Anyways, fetch Sotong from her workplace and crapped at the Coffeeshop near the badminton court area before seeing Brother Zijian to the station.

2 DAYS OF FUN

First thing first, before I start off with today's event, would like to apologise to Jacqueline and Zijian for my attitude I've given today. I really did woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I shouldn't have thrown my temper at you guys. Thank you guys for being so patient with me and many thanks to Jacqueline and Zijian for the slice of cake you brought for me. That's really nice for you guys.

Now, after an hour after we met, Sheryl Sunshine reached and after some disputes with her on where we are suppose to meet, we sang at Ang Mo Kio's KBOX situated near Blk 720. The room's clean and spacious, and with that began our 4 hour singing session of the day.

We left at 8pm for our dinner at the Blk 424 food centre before heading home.

Tomorrow badminton session with Brother Zijian. One last day to enjoy my life as a civilian, two years of military life coming my life. Huat ah!

Yesterday went out with Zijian and Jacqueline for another shopping trip at Vivo, after having Superdog and Kopitiam for lunch, we started window shopping around until one of us had this idea of heading to Sentosa for a 'walk'. LOL. It was so so random? Nevertheless, we had fun, tons of it.

Around 6pm in the evening we headed back to Vivo and had our dinner at this restraunt called Greenplace or something. All I can remember is that it's situated near Superdog. Their Salmon and Chicken chop tastes great, so people you should give it a try if you are heading to Vivo one day. It costs a little less than twenty dollars and does not include any GST nor Service Charge, how great is that?

RUSH HOUR AT TOWN

NO, you are not on the wrong blog, just in case you are wondering who is the person in those photos, he's my Boy's Brigade cum close Secondary Schoolmate, Mr Soh Liangying a.k.a SLY whom I've not met up for quite some time since he entered army. Anyways, met up with him and Jacjac for shopping session at Town. We caught the movie 'Terminator Salvation' at Cineleisure and window shopped shortly afterwards.

In the end, I've got some new undergarments at John Little, nothing compared to Mr. SLY whom brought socks, undergarments, that 'oh-so-neat' Lactose shoes and 2 singlets. Miss Jacjac didnt purchase anything

We then had our dinner at Plaza Singapura's KFC before heading home. It was nice hanging out with you brother. After your National Day Parade practices and everything, we meet up again alright?

Tomorrow second round shopping with Jacjac and Zijian, we are seriously going to kick some crazy butt time together. Woohoo.

PRE-ARMY BBQ CEELBRATION

Okay, pictures for Alvin and I's Army Farewell BBQ taken yesterday.

The main 'participants' at the BBQ were of course, my working cum closest friends. There was Ms Pearly a.k.a Sotong, Jacqueline a.k.a Jacjac, Zijian a.k.a Mussel, Nicole a.k.a Bargirl/Yada and Alvin a.k.a LV.

After meeting up with Alvin, Zijian and eventually AND finally, our beloved Ms Pearly, we were ready to set off to WCP via cab.

Then again, we kind of got lost there, after asking around for directions from a couple of cops stationed there, we eventually got to our BBQ pit site.

Yada and Jacjac came in at a later time.

After the tent was completely set up and the girls were on their way to get more charcoal and ice for the BBQ, we, the guys started BBQ-ing, not before we chased away some China party-POOPERS whom got our pit (:

Around an hour or two into our party food 'fiesta', we were already super bloated. Then we started playing Code Number to punish the loser to eat. In the end, we decided best to have a competition for everyone to finish the food up. It was also around this time Sheryl Sunshine reached (:

Mushmallows time! (:

Jacjac left soon afterwards cause of some family problem and Sheryl to find her boyfriend. But before that, their cam-whoring sessions. We started to consume our alcoholic drinks and boy, they do make people do silly stuffs. LOL.

Most adorable girls I've ever seen! LOL.

And of course, you must see the aftermath of the whole BBQ. And heck, we were so freaking tired. Worse still, there wasn't a cab, if any, in sight at all. We took the bus back to Clementi interchange and took the train home.

This is probably one of the most tiring BBQ I've ever been to. Good gosh. Anyways, movie session with Jacjac tomorrow, can't wait! (:

3 DAYS

3 days without updating, and with that, 2 days spent with Brother Zijian and a day at home, and in the late evenings, doing what I always loved most, running. The feeling of sweat twinkling down and the need of speed further propels me to run even faster everytime, it's the adrealine rush that never fails to remind me that running is the best exercise ever.

3 days back, out with Brother Zijian again the next day to return our nametags at Crowne Plaza. After that we hang out at Pasir Ris's White Sands, Superdog for lunch, brought Brother Zijian's stupid 'BEEF', yes 'BEEF', mashmallows, slacked at the library and had dinner at KFC before heading home, and heck, I was tired. So I tuned in early at 9pm for a good night sleep.

Yesterday's 6km run was good and it felt great. But I know it was far from what I had achieved a few years back when I was more actively running. Nevertheless, being able to hit the tracks 15 rounds proved that my stamina is still there. Later during this evening, I shall do my tapering by running 4km, 10 rounds.

Yes, this post starts with a big big 'WOW-WOW-WOW'. It has been like, weeks, since I've last updated. Anyways, this is going to be a super duper long entry, and God knows when this dumb dumb internet problem is going to crack up again. Here goes.

As far as I can remember, there are a few outings with Sheryl Sunshine and Jacqueline two weeks back, I think, for a window-shopping experience. I remember there is more outings later in the week but I've forgotten most of them. And there's work, Friday's my last day at Crowne Plaza with Brother Zijian, Alvin's last day on Wednesday. We also took photos too, to be uploaded along with alot of super belated photos after this post (:

Oh yes, there is also the 10k Passion Run in which I've took part on May 24th. It was such a great, great run despite having late meetups with the girls and despite the fact we didnt have a group photo together with the gang, we took photos among ourselves and after the whole event, had lunch with Sotong at RCCC's Sushi Teh, a walk through Funan Mall before heading home, totally drained.

As for today, went out with Brother Zijian to City Hall for shopping spree which turned out to be quite a disappointment. Yes, there is the Great Singapore Sale right now, but none of the clothes at my favourite stores, ZARA-Topman-G2000 has any clothes that suits my tastes during this year's sale. Nevertheless, I've got myself a new belt from Topman and T-shirt from Zara to add to my wardrobe, so it isn't a totally wasted trip there. Soon, we had dinner at Pizza Hut, walked a little while longer before heading home.

In a few hours time, meeting Brother Zijian to return nametag to Crowne Plaza. I shall update very very soon.

10 days to army!

GRADUATION

I've been super super busy these past few days, and yes, finally, my computer has been fixed, but not at the cost of no Internet and any sound in my present computer, so yes, I'm updating at my hotel once again.

I've also watched that erotic movie, Friday The Thirteen with Brother Zijian, LOL, and yes, during the time when he needs to rest at home most, we actually went out, watched our movie, and in the end, he limped back home. Thanks Bro!

Well, there has been outings with sunshine these past few days, and one that I especially remembered is the one to our Yam Cha and Clarke Quay photo taking session, a day after Mother's Day. AND, I had Yam Cha on two respective days. Good God.

Speaking of Mother's Day, the whole family really spent quality time with Mum this year. Sister brought a Mango cake for Mum and at night, we had dinner outside. The day was great.

AND!

Finally, after 2 long years, I've graduated at Dover ITE yesterday. The graduation ceremony wasn't that all spectacular but nevertheless, it was a very exciting moment for many of the graduates.

And so, an hour or so before the ceremony started, met up with Isabell at the station before heading to the Dover campus. There, we met up with Idil and the gang, Jeffery and Lester before proceeding into the Auditorium.

The ceremony started off with a group of 5 singing, then a speech by our vice-principal and then the main event, getting our certificates from each department heads.

After the ceremony, spent some time with Idil and the gang, lecturers for phototaking session. I guess I'll miss some of them after I've left ITE, especially Aunty Joe whom left before we could ask her to join in the phototaking session.

After that, went IKEA for hotdog session with Isabell and then Great World City for makan session at Bentento. Shortly afterwards, I've took the bus to Redhill, transferred to the train, and reached home.

Tomorrow I'm heading off to Novena to collect my race pack. One more week to race day! (:

2ND SHOPPING SPREE

There was the thought of staying at home the whole day until my shopping buddy, Zhang Wang, called and asked me whether I was free for a shopping spree with Weiling. Surprisingly, I agreed. I quickly bathed and changed to meet him at City Hall to catch up like old times.

Before we started shopping, had my favorite Latte at Pacific Coffee Company and accompanied them for their lunch at Raffles City Shopping Centre food court.

We started walking around Raffles City Shopping Centre first, follow by Marina Square in which I've brought a new white hoodie and a blue t-shirt at Topman which totally rocked, followed by further walks down Suntec City looking at sports accessories and equipment before heading home in the early evening.

I am so enjoying my post-army life now. I guess I'm really going to rest at home already tomorrow, been spending like no tomorrow recently. Oh man man.

SING AND SHOES

After K-lunch session with Yushun yesterday at Cineleisure, finally brought my new running Nike shoes. Initially I wanted to buy Mizuno shoes, but there was way too little designs to choose from.

After having lunch at Yoshinoya, we window-shopped for the next hour or so before heading home, drained from the lack of sleep.

WORK AND RUN

Nothing beats having good company during work, especially having closest of working friends playing a game of darts to destress after a day of tiring work. The two lunch cum seminar cum dinner session tire all of us out, physically and mentally but not spiritually.

After fetching Sotong home after work, met up with her and Zijian for midnight running session at Bukit Gombak area. We started running the 'oh-so-familar' route that I used to run and train for my Boys Brigade Adventure Quest run. We ran 10km in about a little over an hour since we stopped many times to wait for Sotong to catch up. It was a great run and I do hope to have more runs like that in the future.

After the run, Zijian came over for stayover and we slept shortly after bathing from the run.

We then had Macdonalds in the early afternoon, and watched DVD's at my house for a while before heading to Westmall for a walk. We then parted ways at around 6pm.

It was fun, fun, fun. Next outing, Pulau Ubin Cycling Trip alright guys? (:

WATER FESTIVAL AT SEMBAWANG PARK

Meetup with Sotong early in the morning to meet the gang for water festival, after Nicole had her breakfast at KFC and upon arrival at the site, we were surprised by the amount of people attending the event. There were drink and food booths, performances by many adults and children alike, and a hell lot of splashing around. LOL. It was a hell lot of fun.

After everything, got our bags, bathed and slacked at Nicole's house for a while before heading the Causeway Point to slack around 'aimlessly'.

After Alvin left, I, Zijian and Nicole practically slacked and slept at the library for the next 1-2 hours before finally heading home.

REGISTRATION FOR RUN

There was meetup with working clique, and that's Zijian, Nicole and Sotong to hand in our application for the 2009 100 plus Passion 10k run that's going to happen this coming May 25th. After registrating and filling up the indemnity form at the Running Lab, we had our '4-man' KFC session together. LOL, talking about budget.

After walking a few rounds around Velocity, Sotong left and the rest of us went City Hall for a walk, speaking of which, we visited Swissotel The Stamford and slacked there. There were tons of old and new faces.

We had Just Noodles for dinner, fetched Nicole to her Latin dance lessons before heading home with Zijian. Tomorrow's going to be even more fun than ever with the water festival at Sembawang Park. I can't wait.

Okay, had a meetup with long time Secondary school cum Swissotel protege Doreen for cup-caking session at my house. Here are the some of the required items and steps to make cupcakes, just for you information (:

Chef Doreen and Kenny are at work (:

You'll need, obviously, cupcake holders, decors, 1 orange (Not Shown)

Self-raising flour, 150g

Icing sugar, 150g

Non-sweet butter, 100-150g

3 eggs

Mix self-raising flour and sugar together until it becomes like this, adjust oven to 180 degrees and bake the cupcakes for 15 minutes, remember to pre-heat oven to save time.

Super wonderful-delicious cupcake is ready to be served.

After cup-caking making session, we slacked for a while and finally everything ended at around 6.45pm. Thanks and Kudos to Doreen for giving me an extra box of cupcake (:

I wonder what's next tomorrow. Oh gosh, I've skipped running session today since I was making cupcakes. Run, run, run tomorrow.

Okay, time for a short update since the Internet connection is working. Saturday was spent entirely at home, sleeping while Sunday was a whole day of work with buds like Alvin, Zijian, Sotong, Nicole, Hendro and many others. It was so much fun working together with like-minded friends (:

4km run with 800m walk today, I felt like an old man whom hasnt been exercising for the past decade, more runs coming this week since I'm not working.

Oh my holly macaroni, work was really tiring today. A whole day of setup with Zijian plus a lack of sleep is really tiring me out.

Then again, the internet connection is working at home again. So I guess I'll sleep a little later than I am suppose to.

Anyways, I've seen my ITE overall cumulative results. It was bad. A freaking 2.6 something. Then again, the course never really interests me. So I suppose I might want to get a private degree in the near future after my National Service in the fitness industry to become a qualified Personal Trainer or some camp instructor since I'm interested in that career prospect.

We shall see again.
